Language Institute Serves on the Working Group Preparing for the United Nations Day of Vesak 2027
The administrators, lecturers, and staff of Language Institute, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, serve on the working group that supports the International Council for Day of Vesak (ICDV) in preparing for the United Nations Day of Vesak 2027, which Thailand has the honor of hosting. Representatives of the international Buddhist organizations ICDV and IABU attend the meeting to promote Buddhist cooperation at the international level. The Most Venerable Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit, Vice-President of the University Council, Member of the Sangha Supreme Council, Abbot of Wat Prayurawongsawas Varavihara, and Member of the MCU Foundation Committee, chairs the meeting. The meeting takes place at the Royal Princess Larn Luang, Bangkok.
